The Book

Learning to walk again from the inside out

Novelist Ernest Hemingway said, “The world breaks everyone and afterward many are strong at the broken places.” That describes the journey of Jaisa Sulit, a neuro-rehabilitation specialist who ironically became paraplegic following a motorcycle accident. Her unfolding wisdom and understanding in the subsequent years is little short of astonishing. Purpose in Paralysisis a beautifully written account destined to be a classic description of the unquenchable human spirit.

The accident in 2010 left me with an awareness that each day is not promised. With a desire to share my truth before it's too late  I bit the bullet of self-doubt and finally listened to friends and family who encouraged me to write a book about my journey of healing.

Out of gratitude to everyone who has been there for me and out of my compassion for others on their healing path I have self-published “Purpose In Paralysis: From Chronic Pain to Universal Gain.” This book is not just about how I learned to walk again but how I’ve learned to practise standing in the truth of who I really am.
